Vegetable Macaroni Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 4 Peppercorns
  • 6 Cloves
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • 1 Carrot cut in tiny cubes
  • 1 Potato cut in tiny cubes
  • 1/4 teapoon Tumeric powder
  • 1 inch piece of ginger
  • 2 Maggi cubes or any kind of Stock
  • 3 cups Water
  • 1 Any shape Macroni or Pasta

Instructions:


1. In a thick bottomed vessel or pressure cooker put in tablespoon oil and add the bay leaf, peppercorn and cloves and let it crackle.
2. Then add the onions, tomatoes, chopped carrot, potatoes and tumeric and ginger and fry till the onions turn transparent. Add the cubes with 3 cups of water. Bring to a boil and add in the macaroni or pasta and cook till the pasta is tender. Or pressure cook for 8 minutes.
3. Serve pipping hot in bowls with toasted bread or croutons.

Substitute:
If you do not like any of vegetables, You can substitute that vegetables like instead of carrots you can add spinach or peas.
